About PUSH Publishing

Brief History

PUSH Publishing was set up in 2007. Since then we have published 9 books by a number of different authors, including Roger Forster, Faith Forster, Jonathan Conrathe, Paul Marston, Diana Chapman and Daniel Holland.

Theology

At PUSH Publishing our theology is:

  • biblical
  • Jesus-centred
  • evangelical
  • charismatic
  • relational

Jesus-centred

First and foremost PUSH publishes books that fundamentally recognise Jesus Christ as the Son of God, who came to earth, was crucified as a sacrifice for our sins but rose from the dead, having defeated the power of death.

Trinitarian

God is Trinitarian – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – as clearly revealed in the Bible.

Relational

Our Trinitarian God is by nature relational – the Father, Son and Holy Spirit exist in a state of mutual fellowship, relationship and sharing. God is love. Jesus was fully divine, but became fully human in order to enter into a personal relationship with each and every one of us. God wants us to live life in relationship with him and very human being can experience that, not just an elect few.

Equal

We strongly believe that the gospel of Jesus was given for all men and women regardless of their race, age or nationality. Ageism, sexism and racism, in fact hatred of any human being has no place in Christianity.

Charismatic

At Pentecost the promised gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out on the early church and was apparent in the form of spiritual gifts. These gifts are still available and active today.

Values

Our aim is to run PUSH in a fair and responsible way that values our customers before making profit. Our priority is in producing high quality theology that will bring light and life to its readers. We have Good News to share – getting the Word out there is the most important thing.

Where possible we use materials from sustainable suppliers and recycle. PUSH also donates some of its profits to local charities and donates books to good causes.

If you have any questions about our values or practices, then please feel free to get in touch – we would love to hear from you.
